Caivan The Ridge

Taggart started work on the first phase of Caivan's The Ridge subdivision in 2020. The subdivision will service over 600 residential lots and require over 5200 m of sanitary sewers, 6000 m of storm sewers and 5600 m of watermain. It will also include a commercial property, a large 1200 mm storm sewer along Borrisokane Road and a 270,000 m³ storm water management pond. The operation thus far has seen the movement and placement of over 850 000 m³ of soil to locations both on and off site. The operation leverages some of Taggart's largest excavators and a fleet of off-road trucks and tri-axles - up to 30 vehicles operating concurrently over 16 hours a day to maximize efficiency. The project brings together professionals from multiple organizations including contract administration by DSEL and environmental and geotechnical engineering by Paterson Group.
